A state induced by the intake of excessive amounts of alcohol (relative to your own weight/size/tolerance), often characterised by slurred speech, lowering of inhibitions, clumsy movements and staggering... later stages of intoxication may include vomiting or passing out (and in some cases: singing, claiming you are a champion arm-wrestler and not noticing new carpet burns ;-)

Can result in you waking up to find several bruises that you have no idea how they got there.

And remember: everyone in the SCA has a long memory. (Yes. They do.)
