Cardinal (religious officer)
A Cardinal within the Catholic Church is a very high ranking official, often a bishop or somtimes an archbishop; part of the College of Cardinals responsible, among other things, for electing the Pope. Cardinals wear distinctive red robes.
A cardinal is properly addressed as "Your Eminence".
