Diarmaid O'Duinn (MKA Marc Carlson) of the Barony of Northkeep, Kingdom of Ansteorra. Polymath or annoying know-it-all, opinions differ. He has researched and written over 60 web pages on topics as wide ranging as period shoe making, clothing, leatherworking, horning, timelines of places both real and fictitious, Greenland, witch trials, various religious topics and sundry modern mundane historical events. He has been a frequent contributor to various SCA 'net sites under the names Diarmaid O'Duinn, Diarmait ua Dhuinn, Diarmauit ui Dhuinn, and Dermot O'Donn, as well as under his mundane name.
Diarmaid was elevated to the Order of the Laurel on December 4, 2004.
