Noiregarde is an SCA shire at the far western edge of the Kingdom of Northshield in the northern Black Hills area of South Dakota. The name means "Black Fortress". That's NOR-guard, unless they're fighting, then they treat it as No Regard! Indeed, it's French, but it's a Norman Shire and the Normans came from where?
