Light (combat)
When people say light in the SCA, they usually mean a light fighter. This terminology is subject to InterKingdom Anthropology.
SCA heavy fighters also call a blow "light" if they feel that it is not a legitimate shot to "kill" or "injury" them, if they were to be wearing the assumed armour. Fencers also call a blow "light" in many kingdoms if a touch was made without the minimum 4 pounds of pressure required for a kill.
