The Westmarches are a term used in Ealdormere to refer to all SCA groups located west of the Barony of Ramshaven. This term is primarily used in bardic works rather than in normal converastion, since it has a better meter than "everything west of Ramshaven".
Typically, the Westmarches are regarded as the two Shires, Trinovantia Nova and The March of St. Martin.
