I think we should add the sub-category :Category:Unredacted recipes to keep this list a bit tidier (I'm assuming most people don't want to see the unredacted recipes). - Tobin 10:34, 24 Aug 2004 (EST) |

* There is a list of supposedly unredacted recipes on Cunnan:Recipes from the Forme of Cury. That what I was using the other day to work out which articles didn't have :category:recipes. I was nowhere near finished on that. Do we really want to shift all of them to a unredacted category? I suspect that people won't remember to shift them into the top category once they have been redacted, making it harder for us who edit stuff like that. I would think that it would be best to just have a category for recipes and one for Forme of Cury. The same article can appear in both. If you can't understand the period recipe, then tough luck! I can't see how a different category is going to change that. - Cian Gillebhrath |

** The list at Cunnan:Recipes from the Forme of Cury isn't automatically updated whereas :Category:Unredacted recipes would be. As it stands someone would need to edit a recipe article and Cunnan:Recipes from the Forme of Cury to alter the list. Much easier to ask them to remember to change :Category:Unredacted recipes to :Category:Recipes. Another possibility would be putting both :Category:Unredacted recipes and :Category:Recipes into the articles and removing :Category:Unredacted recipes once a redaction is submitted. We'd get all recipes in the recipes category and still have an automatically updated list of unredacted recipes. - Tobin 14:24, 4 Sep 2004 (EST) |

- The list at Cunnan:Recipes from the Forme of Cury isn't automatically updated whereas Category:Unredacted recipes would be. As it stands someone would need to edit a recipe article and Cunnan:Recipes from the Forme of Cury to alter the list. Much easier to ask them to remember to change Category:Unredacted recipes to Category:Recipes. Another possibility would be putting both Category:Unredacted recipes and Category:Recipes into the articles and removing Category:Unredacted recipes once a redaction is submitted. We'd get all recipes in the recipes category and still have an automatically updated list of unredacted recipes. - Tobin 14:24, 4 Sep 2004 (EST)
