"The worlde as it is knowne."
The map of the SCA world currently contains 19 kingdoms.
This phrase is used to distinguish the events within an SCA context from the modern or mundane world, and also distinct from the historical world from which we draw our inspiriation.
Also commonly spelled 'Knowne World'.
