In [[heraldry]], a line which is drawn '''dancetty''' is made up of several zigzags. It differs from [[indented]] in that the zigzags are longer. It is usual for a line dancetty to have only three complete teeth, even if it extends the entire length of the shield. An two-edged [[ordinary]] dancetty is usually [[emblazoned]] so that the teeth fit into each other, giving the impression that the entire ordinary is a large zigzag.
