==Winning in the SCA==
The winner is the person who defeats their opponent, often in combat. Winning in the [[SCA]] can often lead to a person becoming [[King]], a [[barony]] claiming "ownership" over another barony after [[war]], or a fighter "winning" another's [[consort]].

There are many ways of being competitive in the [[SCA]]. In arts and sciences, a person may win several A&S competitions, thus becoming recognised by all the Laurels and then eventually becoming a [[laurel]] themselves.
