A war point is a scoring mechanism used by martial groups like the SCA to decide a simulated war. Points are allocated to each battle that is fought on the basis of victory and achieving set aims. These points are added up and the side with the most points is the victor of the war.

Sometimes events like the Inter-College War also allocate points to non-martial activities, like a bardic challenge or a cooking competition.
