Thank you. I have deleted it, but please take this less as a criticism and more as a tidying operation. Perhaps we can collaborate on something at some future date. --[[User:Simoncursitor|Simoncursitor]] 09:21, 14 Jun 2005 (CDT)

Hello Elyas and welcome to Cunnan!

Normally we encourage new users to make more edits and become familiar with the software but you've obviously got the hang of things already.

Remember to keep an eye on the Village pump. You can track your contributions using Special:Contributions/Elyas.

Mango

Might I ask whether this is a serious contribution, or a spoof, as its content seems a little at odds with other entries ? --Simoncursitor 03:11, 13 Jun 2005 (CDT)

Of course it isn't serious. My edit summary says "tongue in cheek." I succumbed to temptation as the page didn't previously exist. What can one say about Mangos? I mean as far as the middle ages go? This brings up a larger issue that I should (and will) take to the Village Pump

Thank you -- may I take it, then, that you will not object to my editing the page out of existence before one of the more credulous readers starts importing mangoes, mangosteens, papaya and even the (ig)noble durian into our feasts ? --Simoncursitor 04:15, 14 Jun 2005 (CDT)

Certainly. I only did it because the article on New World foods links it (okay, and becuase of the Imp of the Perverse). Perhaps these fruits should not be linked.

Thank you. I have deleted it, but please take this less as a criticism and more as a tidying operation. Perhaps we can collaborate on something at some future date. --Simoncursitor 09:21, 14 Jun 2005 (CDT)
