Two pronged fork

Well, it's a fork that has only 2 prongs - like a fork for carving a roast, but smaller if possible.

These do turn up regularly in op-shops, sometimes even in sets of 6!, and are quite cheap.

Most people consider any fork with more than two tines to be out of period, but period examples of forks with more tines do exist.
