Until 2015, a Triple Peer was a person who had been raised to all three Great Orders of Peerage in the SCA; that is, they were members of the Order of Chivalry, the Order of the Pelican and the Order of the Laurel. Triple peers are extremely rare, as they must have demonstrated not only martial prowess (the Chivalry), exemplary service to the Society (the Pelicans), and excellence in arts and sciences (the Laurels). With the addition of the Order of Defence, a triple peer, logically, is one who is a member of three out of the four orders. Someone who is a member of all four would be a quadruple peer.

You may hear or see a triple peer being referred to as Master Master Sir NAME or Mistress Mistress Sir NAME. (See title stacking)
