Thyme

apparently waits for no man..

A small aromatic herb or low shrubs of the genus Thymus. It has small, whiteish or pink flowers grouped in clusters to form a 'head'. Leaves are small and may vary in colour with subspecies, stems are woody and not very tasty.

The leaves of this plant were, and still are, often used as a seasoning.
