The Axemen are a war unit primarily based in Arrowsreach, although they "claim" members from the Kingdom of the West and Caid. The members of the Axemen are numbered, not named.
This group of misfits has no special membership qualifications other than being alive, and even then if they name drop YOU, and you happen to be dead, you're in also...
THEN you get a number. Never shall you be called by your name again.
Of course the basic premise is that you are automatically an Axeman, until you deny it. Although they enjoy having fun, the "Axemen" are beginning to establish themselves as an effective war unit, boasting victories at Border War and the Benevolence crusade.
