This page is about the beverage using tea leaves.
You may be after a meal, sometimes called dinner.

Tea is a beverage made from infusing tea leaves in boiling water. Sugar is often added to sweeten the taste with cream or milk to cool it.

Tea was first drunk in Asia. Records mention its existence in China in the 10th century BC. The first European mentions of it were from travellers' notes, like those of Marco Polo. However, the first record of it being in Europe was in the early 17th century, when a ship of the Dutch East India Company brought the first green tea leaves to Amsterdam from China.
