The important word here is "official." According to Corpora, Colleges, Ports and Strongholds - institutional groups - located within other branches report through that local branch otherwise they can report directly to Kingdom. Shires do not have any territorial subgroups. Good catch. [[User:AlexandreDavigne|AlexandreDavigne]] 22:15, 10 July 2008 (EST)

No official subgroups

Several of the entries here indicate "It may not have any official subgroups." I question the truthfulness of this for shires. I know of shires with colleges and strongholds in them -- in fact, I created some as a kingdom seneschal. Where is this referenced? CsikosLo 01:03, 10 July 2008 (EST)

Some Shires have many subgroups, others have no subgroups at all. Hence the rider "may". Perhaps the sentence might be amended "It may not necessarily have any official subgroups." User:Paul Matisz 07/09/08 12:53 EST
