The usage is all over the SCA historical documents, up to and including recent Board Minutes. The one place I can't find it is in any Laurel Rulings or Precedents. This suggests that it is "not approved" rather than "banned." Accordingly, I have changed the wording on the page to reflect that. If someone finds a citation to an actual *ban*, then we can certainly change it back. [[User:AlexandreDavigne|AlexandreDavigne]] 23:49, 26 February 2009 (EST)

"Although banned by the Laurel Sovereign of Arms"

Can someone point me to the source of this? - Wolffauer

It just says:
Lord/Lady/-: Basic title for persons who hold Arms by Award or Grant.
Indeed, on the Drachenwald site, it explicitly says "There is no special title for such people." (http://www.drachenwald.sca.org/Herald/titles.php)
