Brooches aren't just used for cloaks, they're for tunic necklines, holding up dresses (in pairs like viking apron dresses for example, or singly like earlier anglo-saxon styles.)

I can't think of a way of rewriting the first sentence to include things other than just cloaks, without it getting too clunky and unreadable, could someone with a better mind for such things (or even having more sleep) help? --Asfridhr 23:43, 26 September 2006 (EST)
