I'm sorry is this is naive, I am new to this wiki, though not to mediawiki. Shouldn't this page be spilt into Baton (heraldry) and Baton (fencing)? It seems as though these are very different uses of the word.

  • Possibly -- but that would leave 2 short pages and would require cross-linking. In my humble, while ever the two can be accommodated on the one page without confusion or over-loading, I am happy to read them that way. --Simoncursitor 08:39, 17 Nov 2005 (CST)
