* Possibly -- but that would leave 2 short pages and would require cross-linking. In my humble, while ever the two can be accommodated on the one page without confusion or over-loading, I am happy to read them that way. --[[User:Simoncursitor|Simoncursitor]] 08:39, 17 Nov 2005 (CST)

How about adding a horizontal line between the two meanings? I think this is how it is done on Wikipedia. I'll put it up and then get feedback.

I'm sorry is this is naive, I am new to this wiki, though not to mediawiki. Shouldn't this page be spilt into Baton (heraldry) and Baton (fencing)? It seems as though these are very different uses of the word.

  • Possibly -- but that would leave 2 short pages and would require cross-linking. In my humble, while ever the two can be accommodated on the one page without confusion or over-loading, I am happy to read them that way. --Simoncursitor 08:39, 17 Nov 2005 (CST)

How about adding a horizontal line between the two meanings? I think this is how it is done on Wikipedia. I'll put it up and then get feedback.

  • Looks good to me. Personal Q: Do you have a name ? --Simoncursitor 08:21, 19 Nov 2005 (CST)
    • I have been in the SCA for less than a month, so I do not currently have a SCA name, but my RL name is Bay
      • Well, seems to me like you know what you're doing. Perhaps, if you ever make it to England, we'll meet up. In the meantime, why not acquire a log-in, and start contributing to Cunnan more widely. --Simoncursitor 07:28, 20 Nov 2005 (CST)
