Period Recipe

From the Forme of Cury.

Take smale Sachellis of canuas and fille hem full of þe same fars & seeþ hem. and whan þey buth ynowz take of the canvas, rost hem & colour hem &c.

  • Sachus. I suppose sacks.
  • same fars. viz. as 174.

(tentative) Take small sacks of canvas and fill them full of the same fars (ie [Potews (recipe)]???) and seethe them and when they are 'ynowz' take out of the canvas, roast them and colour them, etc.
