A Rubber Band Gun, commonly abbreviated to "RBG", is a type of gun sometimes used in rapier fighting in the SCA
The weapon can be made of wood and is designed to resemble period firearms in most cases. The RBG fires "Rubber Bands" frequently made from surgical tubing.
The RBG is in general used during rapier melees and is by convention a single shot weapon. Reloads are sometimes allowed during battles but this is the discretion of the marshal.
