Roleplaying is normally divided into two types:
- Live roleplaying - where you physically act out the character, eg. re-enactment groups
- Table-top roleplaying - where you describe the actions of your character, eg. Dungeons and Dragons.
Roleplaying is used in the commercial world as a training mechanism which places employees in various roles and scenarios. This is live roleplaying.
