The Order of the Espada de Oro (CEO) is an award from the Barony of al-Barran and was established September 1997 and is given to those persons who have demonstrated excellence in the art of fencing. The first companion of the order was Echevarian Peregrinus presented in September 1997 The insignia of this order is not registered, but if passed will feature a gold scorpion over a white chevron with crossed rapiers at the base. The holders of this award shall be styled as Companions of the Espada de Oro and shall be entitled to place the initials C.E.O. after their names. The award shall carry with it, subject to the pleasure of the Crown, an Award of Arms.
