When they broke the old Zealand, it formed 2 halves. Geography was the winner on the day.

New Zealand is a shiny and wonderful place full of excitement and adventure.

Europeans did not arrive upon its shores until 1769.

New Zealand in the SCA

Formerly part of the SCA Kingdom of Caid, New Zealand has been part of Lochac since 2003. While the SCA groups within New Zealand do not formally constitute a separate entity within the Kingdom, the collective name The Crescent Isles has been at least informally adopted. Some kingdom officers (e.g. chronicler) have deputies responsible for NZ matters. SCA membership in NZ is managed by SCANZ.
