His Grace Michael of Bedford is a Knight and a Duke within the SCA. He reigned as King in the East Kingdom on 18th October, 1980 (A.S. XV). Shortly thereafter Duke Michael became Kingdom of Atlantia's first King and was crowned on 2nd May, 1981 (A.S. XVI). Since then Duke Michael has went on to reign eight more times. Duke Michael is also a triple peer; a Knight, Laurel and Pelican.
