In the [[SCA]] a person who is admitted into the [[Order of Chivalry]], but does not swear a permanent oath of [[fealty]] is called a '''Master of Arms'''. This is essentially the same as being a [[knight]], but a Master of Arms may not wear a [[fealty chain]] and is addressed as "Master" or "Mistress" rather than "Sir". |
