The Marshal's Handbook is a Society level document that dictates the minimum level of equipment and conduct for SCA combat. Individual kingdoms may add to these requirements in their kingdom marshals' handbook, but the Society level handbook specifies the general [[conventions of combat] that all kingdoms must adhere to.
