A light fighter is the term used in Lochac to describe missile combatants, such as archers, and where appropriate, rapierists. They are also frequently referred to as lights.
For safety reasons, they must be clearly distinguished from heavy fighters during mixed battles. In Lochac, lights are marked by a plume attached to their helms.
