Caid is the sixth SCA Kingdom, encompassing the mundane areas of Southern California, the greater Las Vegas area, and Hawaii.
Caid became a principality in June, 1974, and a kingdom in June, 1978.
The name Caid comes from the initials of the original subgroups from which it was formed:
