A fox is a mammalian quadraped of the Genus Vulpes. The red fox (Vulpes vulpes) is the most common in Europe. Reputedly a cunning animal, prone to trickery the fox is a solitary hunter unlike most canines.

  • Adult female: Vixen
  • Juvenile: Kit
  • Collective noun: Skulk or shrewdness
