Enarmes are (likely) leather straps that may be found on the back of some shields. Typically found on kite shields and heaters, they enable the wielder to slip their arm through the enarmes in order to support the weight. Some sort of grip with which the wielder may grip with their hand in order to correctly orientate the shield.
