Dead

One thing to remember in SCA combat is that when someone hits you sufficiently enough in either the head or body so that it would penetrate your assumed armour, you are dead. This means you should fall over, and die.

Death in the SCA can be quite spectacular, and can be turned into an artform. Prizes may be given at tournaments for the most spectacular "death".

In certain circumstances, you may be resurrected to fight another day.
