David the Greater

Sir David Martin Failsworth (also known as David the Greater) was a prominent SCAdian who reigned as the first King of Ealdormere (along with his Queen, Elina de Braose, in A.S. XXXIII. He also served as Prince of Ealdormere twice, during the first and tenth reigns of the Principality. He was one of the most ardent supporters of Ealdormere becoming a Kingdom.

The Sir David Martin Failsworth Memorial Storming of the Gate event in the Shire of Trinovantia Nova is named after him.

His arms are Argent, a crequier within a bordure embattled vert.
