Conrad III or Conradin (also called Conrad the Younger) was the son of Conrad II and his wife, Elizabeth of Bavaria.

He was born in 1252CE, in Bavaria, and became king of Jerusalem 2 years later, when his father died. he would appear never to have visited Palestine, remaining in Europe, embroiled in controversy and war with the Pope and papalist forces in Italy. He died at the age of 16.

His death, without issue, left the line of succession uncertain. Hugh of Cyprus had acted as his regent and he managed to obtain a coronation as Hugh I.
