The Clarenceux King of Arms is the senior of two provincial Kings of Arms in England (the Norroy and Ulster King of Arms being the junior) under the Principal King, the Garter King of Arms.

The office is believed to have been in existence since the year 1420 and perhaps as early as 1334. The Jurisdiction of the Clarenceux King of Arms is the lands of England south of the river Trent.
