Chivalric weapons are "knightly" weapons, such as spear, great sword, or single sword with shield, mace or axe. This term is an SCAism.

Some SCA tournaments are run as chivalric weapons tournaments, so only these weapons can be used.

This appears to be a regional or local usage.
