The Cantons exist to help the subdivision manage larger areas, which might or might not be seated by the main populace. It allows the crowns to organize events in these further regions, as well as assist the ministers of the subdivision to have those who would maintain a presence at these events. Cantons, like [[Shire (Adrian Empire)|Shires]], are headed by a [[Viceroy]] and/or [[Vicereine]].
A local organization of the Adrian Empire, formed by a chartered subdivision. It is led by a [[viceroy]] and/or [[vicereine]] appointed by the the ruler of the subdivision. It's officers are deputies of the subdivision officers.
