A '''camping event''' lasts several days and normally requires [[tent]]s and fire pits. The term "camping event" can also be short-hand for any [[event]] that involves an overnight stay. Others involve more civilized accommodations, with cabins, [[bed]]s, and food provided by the event staff. |

In longer events, activites may be scheduled over several days. |
