Breton

Breton is a Brythonic language within the family of Celtic languages. It travelled from southern England to Brittany in the 5th and 6th centuries in response to the Anglo-Saxon invasions. As a result, its early form was similar to Cornish. The earliest texts which have been found are from the 8th century.
