The Barony-Marche of the Debatable Lands is a SCA branch that geographically includes greater Pittsburgh and part of southwestern Pennsylvania. The Debatable Lands is the oldest and one of the largest baronies in the Kingdom of AEthelmearc, the region covering western New York, most of Pennsylvania outside the Harrisburg-Philadelphia corridor, and West Virginia.

The Barony-Marche also proudly includes two smaller branches within its borders: the College of Cour d'Or (Pittsburgh-area colleges and universities) and the Canton of Steltonwald (Beaver County, PA). They are also sponsoring the Incipient Shire of Gryphon's Keep.

The Debatable Lands is traditionally considered the "home" group of the Pennsic War between the East and Middle Kingdoms. However, Coopers Lake Campground, where Pennsic is held, is officially not part of any SCA group. Geographically, Pennsic is located within the lands of the Shire of Sunderoak, a former canton of the Debatable Lands.

The Debatable Lands is home to about 250 members, including many Pelicans, Laurels and Knights. It is particularly known for its talented musicians, costumers, scribes, cooks and fencers. Numerous kingdom officers have been residents, and as of 2005 three Crowns of AEthelmearc have hailed from the Debatable Lands: Andrew & Alexandra, Henri and Malcolm & Tessa. In addition, the first Prince and Princess of the Principality of AEthelmearc, Tarbold & Cainder, were Debatable Lands citizens, as was the Lady Protector, Mistress Cassadoria Finialla, who ruled between AEthelmearc's being granted principality status and the first Investiture.
