Swan Champion of St Monica

The Swan Champion of St Monica is chosen by boffer tourney. The audience vote on which boffer fighter exhibited the qualities of a Swan, chiefly grace, beauty and ferocity, the most. The symbol of the office is a perpetual trophy known as the Swan Boffer, which is a snow-white boffer with ribbons attached to the bottom (for beauty). It was made by the hand of Joanna of Broadwood.

The fate of the first Swan Boffer

The first swan boffer was given to Francis the Beardless, who promptly vanished to Canada.

The location of the first boffer remains unknown. It is probably in a basement somewhere, and not in Canada. But you never truly know. Legend says that one day the first Swan Boffer may return.
