Napisan is absolutely not safe to eat - that's where the rinsing comes in. It does however, do a lovely job of effortlessly cleaning bottles. As to where I learnt about it? That's a toughie. If I remember right, I heard about it from Drake Morgan (Polit brewing Laurel extraordinare) back when I started brewing. Morgant 21:00, 10 Sep 2003 (EST)
