Feather

Feathers have a variety of uses in period:

• a feather in your hat for ornamentation
• goose feathers used as quills by scribes
• feathers in your mattress or pillow for comfort

In heraldry, the feather as a charge is by default an eagle wingtip feather. If you want a peacock feather on your device then you must blazon it as such.
