The Canton of Brokenbridge is located in Brooklyn, NY. An early version of this canton was located in just a few zip codes in brooklyn and, due to the fact that most of its members lived in the same building, was referred to as the "Vertical Canton."
Before Brokenbridge was founded, there was some thought to name the coanton "Ebbet's Field. An Ebbet is a small green newt indigenous to the area. This woudl have made it a "newtist canton." This idea was ultiumately rejected.
