BC

BC = Before Christ.
BC is commonly used to refer to dates before the birth of Jesus but it seems to have fallen out of favour in recent years. B.C.E. (Before Common Era) is more commonly used in modern documents.

Generally, the SCA does not cover this part of history, generally recreating anything after Roman times. For a fuller discussion of the scope of the SCA, see period.
