I am confused. Is "tassets" a singular noun or a plural noun? Either way you can't say

Tassets are a metal plate or plates

It is either

A Tassets is a metal plate

or

Tassets are metal plates

or

Tassets are a set of metal plates

- Cian Gillebhrath, the pedant. Fair enough. How about this?--User 144 07:27, 8 Jun 2006 (EST)
