Mostly only later period dances can by recreated, since we have instructions for them.(although the instructions are abbout as clear as period recepies - certain things are assumed to be known by everyone).
There are pictures are talk of dancing in earlier times, but we don't have any more than an vauge idea how these dances went, so we can't recreate them.
